Houseplants
House plants aren’t just pretty, they actually have many great benefits. House plants can remove toxins, allergens, purify the air, and humidify the air. They also help brighten any home.
Allergens that plants remove - dust and mold
Toxins that plants remove from the air - formaldehyde, benzene, trichloroethylene
Plants release over 90 percent of the water they absorb back into the air, which acts as a great humidifier. As a result, this aids in better breathing and can help with common colds, asthma, sore throats, dry coughs and other respiratory issues.
Some plants are also known to help with uplifting your mood, anxiety or depression. Since they release oxygen into the air, they aid in better concentration and memory.
Here is list of some commonly owned house plants:

Even though most of these house plants may be easy to maintain it is important to give them a little TLC. Make sure to water when needed, not over water, add fertilizer when needed, trim or replant when they start to outgrow their container or pot. Also, make sure that plants are in a well lit space if they require light.
